After attending Brown University and earning degrees in Computer Science and Economics,

Mr. Moniz created and managed a successful Information Technology consulting firm specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing for more than twenty-five years. Among his best-known clients were Fidelity Investments, L.L. Bean, Liberty Mutual Insurance, TD Bank, Harvard University Medical School, Sysco Food Services, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, and other Fortune 500 companies based in the greater Boston area. Mr. Moniz possessed several U.S. government security clearances including a Top Secret Level clearance from the U.S. Department of Defense.

In 2012, Mr. Moniz decided to make a career change. He realized that his experience in both scientific analysis and deductive reasoning translated very well into the field of private investigation. As such, Mr. Moniz relies on creative, intelligent problem-solving rather than bureaucratic, traditional law enforcement techniques. Personalized services and focused, integrated data have led to speedy outcomes and high client satisfaction. Regardless of the type of service, from missing persons to guarding personal computers against attack, Excalibur’s approach is the efficient and successful one as practiced by Mr. Moniz for decades.

Mr. Moniz has recently returned to New Hampshire after residing in southwestern Florida since 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Moniz had been a resident of Rye and Portsmouth, New Hampshire since 1995. Mr. Moniz was raised in southeastern Massachusetts on the shores of Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound. In his leisure time, Mr. Moniz is a passionate baseball fan - playing in organized adult leagues and watching his “home town” Boston Red Sox, sailing - both racing as well as casual cruising, long-range precision rifle shooting, wine collecting, and playing the drums.
